"We have over 800,000 square feet of distribution space located in McKinney Texas. We operate on a 24/7 schedule and needed to look at ways to save cost in the facility. We chose another lighting company to retrofit the first phase of our facility back in 2002 (prior to SES) and the final result met our needs although the project implementation had some issues. On the second phase in 2003 we contracted with SES based on their persistent desire to “exceed our expectations” It seems that was all they would talk about. Phase two (500,000 sq ft) went in without a hitch – much better than phase one. SES really did provide us with a very good project. Since then we have continued to work with SES on many fronts and will continue to do so."
Danny Rand, Director of Facilities and Distribution, Blockbuster Entertainment, McKinney, Texas

"We are extremely pleased at the outcome of our lighting retrofit project at our Dallas Distribution Center. The light quality and energy savings is better than we expected. We are in the process of instituting this technology in our other facilities across the country and have recommended your company for the work. You may have already been contacted by our Baltimore facility.
Once again thank you for making this project a success and it has truly been a pleasure in doing business with SES, you guys understand the term “customer service”.

In June of 2006, Bates Container began a re-lighting project at our 195,000 sq. ft. corrugated box plant in North Richland Hills, Texas.  Southwest Energy Solutions replaced (112) 400 watt and (67) 1000 watt metal halide fixtures along with (60) 64 watt T8 fixtures. In there place they installed (190) 234 watt T5, (65) 351 watt T5, and (25) 64 watt T8 fixtures.  The wattage savings was 30%.  In addition to the energy savings, the quality of light improved and exceeded our expectations.  The future savings is that the T5 lights will loose only 5% of their output against the metal halide lights loosing 35% over the life of the lamps.  The huge loss of output from the metal halide fixtures was the main reason so may 1000 watt fixtures had been installed to replace 400 watt ones.  We expect and have seen the 30% savings in lighting cost as well as a greatly improved work environment.  SES studied our existing lighting and engineered a very good solution to our lighting needs.
Gary Jamison, Purchasing Mgr., Bates Container, Dallas Texas

Bob Pinard of Southwest Energy Solutions provided a recommendation to convert our high wattage metal halide lighting in the warehouse to a T5 florescent fixture. Although I was skeptical that the savings Bob specified could be obtained, I was blown away (along with Bob's conservative estimates) by the recapture timeframe of less than 16 months along with an annual reduction in our energy consumption of 2.1 million KWh's.

We started our working relationship with SES on a pick module project in Conroe, TX. I would give them high marks for project implementation and follow through all the way to the completion of the job. Their project management group is very responsive to change, they have a high sense of urgency, and they stay very focused on getting their projects completed on time. Because of their successful performance we will be using them again on two new projects.
